Chargepoint "Request Connection" Pop-up Not Present During Enrollment

This article walks through connecting a Chargepoint device to a Utility program when the Request Connection pop-up window isn't present.

Request Connection Pop-up

The below example image is the pop-up this article is referring to.

Please click on the utility program you are signing up for below to locate the correct connection process and code.

  1. Central Hudson - EV ChargeSmart
  2. EMT - Efficiency Maine Load Management Initiative
  3. GMP - eCharger Program
  4. FortisBC - Peak Saver Program
  5. Holy Cross Energy - Charge at Home
  6. Hoosier Energy - Connect To Save Program
  7. Hydro One - myEnergy Rewards Program
  8. MMWEC - NextZero Connected Homes
  9. SnoPUD - FlexEnergy
  10. Vermont Electric Co-op Program

Central Hudson - EV ChargeSmart Program

If the Request Connection pop-up did not show up, please do the following once you are logged into Chargepoint:

  1. Select the Connections tab.
  2. Enter CenHud23 in the Enter Your Connection Code box. 
  3. Click Apply
  4. Central Hudson will appear in the table.
  5. Click the Request button in the Connect column.
  6. The Request Connection pop-up shown at the top of this article should now show up.
  7. Enter the Pairing Code from the email you received.
  8. Agree to the T&C's and Click Submit Request.
  9. Done. 

The Connection Code above is NOT the same as the pairing code in your email.

EMT - EMT Load Management Initiative

If the Request Connection pop-up did not show up, please do the following once you are logged into Chargepoint:

  1. Select the Connections tab.
  2. Enter EMLM23 in the Enter Your Connection Code box. 
  3. Click Apply
  4. Efficiency Maine will appear in the table.
  5. Click the Request button in the Connect column.
  6. The Request Connection pop-up shown at the top of this article should now show up.
  7. Enter the Pairing Code from the email you received.
  8. Agree to the T&C's and Click Submit Request.
  9. Done. 

GMP - eCharger Program

If the Request Connection pop-up did not show up, please do the following once you are logged into Chargepoint:

  1. Select the Connections tab.
  2. Enter GMPVT19 in the Enter Your Connection Code box. 
  3. Click Applygmp
  4. Green Mountain Power Home will appear in the table.
  5. Click the Request button in the Connect column.
  6. The Request Connection pop-up shown at the top of this article should now show up.
  7. Enter the Pairing Code from the email you received.
  8. Agree to the T&C's and Click Submit Request.
  9. Done. 

The Connection Code above is NOT the same as the pairing code in your email.

FortisBC - Peak Saver Program

If the Request Connection pop-up did not show up, please do the following once you are logged into Chargepoint:

  1. Select the Connections tab.
  2. Enter FBCP22 in the Enter Your Connection Code box. 
  3. Click Applyfortis
  4. FortisBC DR pilot will appear in the table.
  5. Click the Request button in the Connect column.
  6. The Request Connection pop-up shown at the top of this article should now show up.
  7. Enter the Pairing Code from the email you received.
  8. Agree to the T&C's and Click Submit Request.
  9. Done. 

The Connection Code above is NOT the same as the pairing code in your email.

Holy Cross Energy - Charge at Home Program

If the Request Connection pop-up did not show up, please do the following once you are logged into Chargepoint:

  1. Select the Connections tab.
  2. Enter HolyCross2024 in the Enter Your Connection Code box. 
  3. Click Apply
  4. Holy Cross Energy will appear in the table.
  5. Click the Request button in the Connect column.
  6. The Request Connection pop-up shown at the top of this article should now show up.
  7. Enter the Pairing Code from the email you received.
  8. Agree to the T&C's and Click Submit Request.
  9. Done. 

The Connection Code above is NOT the same as the pairing code in your email.

    Hoosier Energy - Connect To Save Program


    If the Request Connection pop-up did not show up, please do the following once you are logged into Chargepoint:

    1. Select the Connections tab.
    2. Enter CTS2022 in the Enter Your Connection Code box. 
    3. Click Apply
    4. Connect To Save will appear in the table.
    5. Click the Request button in the Connect column.
    6. The Request Connection pop-up shown at the top of this article should now show up.
    7. Enter the Pairing Code from the email you received.
    8. Agree to the T&C's and Click Submit Request.
    9. Done. 

    The Connection Code above is NOT the same as the pairing code in your email.

    Hydro One - myEnergy Rewards Program

    If the Request Connection pop-up did not show up, please do the following once you are logged into Chargepoint:

    1. Select the Connections tab.
    2. Enter HydroOne23 in the Enter Your Connection Code box. 
    3. Click Apply
    4. Connect To Save will appear in the table.
    5. Click the Request button in the Connect column.
    6. The Request Connection pop-up shown at the top of this article should now show up.
    7. Enter the Pairing Code from the email you received.
    8. Agree to the T&C's and Click Submit Request.
    9. Done. 

    The Connection Code above is NOT the same as the pairing code in your email.

    MMWEC - NextZero Connected Homes

    If the Request Connection pop-up did not show up, please do the following once you are logged into Chargepoint:

    1. Select the Connections tab.
    2. Enter NextZero in the Enter Your Connection Code box. 
    3. Click Applymmwec
    4. NEXTZERO_CONN_HOME will appear in the table.
    5. Click the Request button in the Connect column.
    6. The Request Connection pop-up shown at the top of this article should now show up.
    7. Enter the Pairing Code from the email you received.
    8. Agree to the T&C's and Click Submit Request.
    9. Done. 

    The Connection Code above is NOT the same as the pairing code in your email.

    SnoPUD - FlexEnergy

    If the Request Connection pop-up did not show up, please do the following once you are logged into Chargepoint:

    1. Select the Connections tab.
    2. Enter SnoPUD2021 in the Enter Your Connection Code box. 
    3. Click Applysnopud
    4. SnoPUD - FlexEnergy will appear in the table.
    5. Click the Request button in the Connect column.
    6. The Request Connection pop-up shown at the top of this article should now show up.
    7. Enter the Pairing Code from the email you received.
    8. Agree to the T&C's and Click Submit Request.
    9. Done.

    Vermont Electric Co-op Program

    If the Request Connection pop-up did not show up, please do the following once you are logged into Chargepoint:

    1. Select the Connections tab.
    2. Enter VEC123 in the Enter Your Connection Code box. 
    3. Click Apply.vec
    4. Vermont Electric Co-op Program will appear in the table.
    5. Click the Request button in the Connect column.
    6. The Request Connection pop-up shown at the top of this article should now show up.
    7. Enter the Pairing Code from the email you received.
    8. Agree to the T&C's and Click Submit Request.
    9. Done.
